Tomato season is here!
Tomato season has officially begun! We’ve just added Floating Garden Cocktail Tomatoes to the store from their year-round greenhouse in Osler. These beautiful tomatoes are bigger than a cherry tomato but smaller than a Roma.
New Categories – Gluten Free Bread / Wood Fired Pizza
We’ve added a couple new categories to the site this week including a section just for Kneaded Bake Shop’s Gluten Free products where we have added two new breads (Berry Blue/ Hippie Bread).
We’ve also added a section just for Solo Italia’s Wood Fired Pizzas. If you haven’t had the Solo Italia pizza’s yet – do yourself a “flavour”. They are truly remarkable wood-fired pizza’s that cook in less than 5 minutes and constantly delight the palate. The Pepperoni Bacon and Margherita are now a Friday night tradition in our family.
New Product – Marco Bread
The heart of the Solo Italia pizza is a unique dough that is from an original family recipe that owner Marco De Michele brought from Naples, Italy to Omega, Saskatchewan. We wondered, what if you took that dough and turned it into a loaf for sandwiches, garlic bread or just snacking? Say hello to Marco Bread!
New sizes – Solo Italia
Solo Italia also has new sizes for their authentic Italian pasta. The ravioli (Spinach Ricotta, Mushroom Ricotta, Four Cheese) now comes in 650 gram package and the pasta (Spaghetti, Fettuccine and Pappardelle) are in 400 gram packages. Watch for samples of Solo Italia products in next week’s deliveries.
SALT Food Boutique – Lox
This week, we’ve added SALT Food Boutique’s beautiful Steelhead Trout Lox. This brined fish fillet is at home on a cracker or on a bagel with some cream cheese.

Wait…did you just say fresh baked cookies? We are pleased to offer a selection of fresh baked cookies from Susie’s Cinns for delivery. Homemade cookie taste – with no dishes! Triple Chocolate Chip , Oatmeal Raisin, Skor , and Soft Molasses.
New Search Tool
As the list of local products continues to grow (now almost 600) we will be adding new features to make it easier to shop. This week we’ve added a search function to the site. You’ll find it in the top left corner of the store.
