Producer Profiles: KOKO Patisserie
Welcome back to Producer Profiles!
This week we are baking up some delicious desserts and tasty tea treats with Koko Patisserie! (Well, they’re actually the ones doing the hard work – we’re just baking their ready-to-go treats and likely passing them off as our own wonderful creations when we have guests over.)
KOKO Patisserie is what real baking is all about: butter, Callebaut chocolate, and precise measurements that come together in delicious kitchen science! Styled as a traditional European patisserie, KOKO offers artisanal pastries, cakes and sweets in their shop on Broad Street, and we are proud to now be delivering their ready-to-bake line through Local & Fresh.
KOKO is owned and run by husband and wife team Marcie and Kirby Punshon, who are true foodies and entrepreneurs. Taking their passions for business and fine food, they started KOKO in their home kitchen and have grown into their bakery on Broad Street, as well as growing their products’ reputation throughout Regina and well beyond.
KOKO ready-to-bake cookies and scones are made with real ingredients, no preservatives, and somehow they still go from freezer to oven to dessert plate tasting like you would make (if you had the time). Right now we are carrying the blueberry scones, lemon-cranberry scones, ginger molasses cookies, triple chocolate cookies and peanut butter cookies.
